I forgot my backup passphrase.
The file cannot be opened without it, by you or by anyone else, including me. There is no reset, because there is no server and no copy of the passphrase anywhere. If your phone still has your data, export a fresh backup with a passphrase you will keep.
I bought Plus and it shows as locked.
In Settings, under Dottie Plus, tap Restore purchases. It checks your App Store purchases with Apple. No Dottie account is involved. Plus is not shared through Family Sharing, on purpose, so it never appears in a family group's purchases.
I want to delete everything.
Settings, then Delete all data, then Delete everything. It erases both databases and their keys, the lock, the theme and every reminder. There is no server copy, so nothing can be recovered.
I set a decoy PIN and want to remove it.
Settings, then Decoy PIN, then Remove decoy. The decoy profile and its data are deleted. Turning off app lock removes both PINs.

iPhone, on iOS 16.4 or later.
Can I attach something useful to my email?
A screenshot of the screen in question helps most. Dottie keeps no diagnostic logs that leave the device on their own; anything you send, you choose to send.
